Welcome to the NNGHC

And welcome to the web site of the Northern Nevada Gaited Horse Club. If you have any comments we would appreciate the input.Also any members that would like to submit items including photos, please contact the web site manager. NNGHC is also a recognized club with the American Trail Trials Association and North American Peruvian Horse Association.

Purpose:

To provide a forum for members to further their interest in and enjoyment of gaited horses. The club will sponsor educational activities to encourage good horsemanship, sportsmanship, and safety. It will organize competitive events, trail rides, clinics, and other events to foster friendship among riders of gaited horses. Furthermore, the club will be a source of information to the public about the talents, versatility, and capabilities of each gaited breed and may provide demonstrations of the various gaits at horse shows and parades. The club does not support or condone any inhumane practices against gaited horses, nor does it support or condone any events which allow said practices.

SEPTEMBER 25 - 26, 2010 - NNGHC CLASSIC ALL GAITED BREED HORSE SHOW

.The NNGHC will be hosting this ALL-GAITED BREED SHOW the last weekend of September. The show will be sanctioned by NAPHA, UMH, and FOSH. Watch this site for the details as they develope. Go to the events page of this site and click on the link for the ANNUAL SHOW as all of the information as well as the class list and registration forms will be available there.

OCTOBER 23 - 24, 2010 - NCWHA OCTOBERFEST HORSE SHOW

Held at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa CA. This is the only TWH show in California which qualifies for the Northwest Regional High Point Awards.
