And welcome to the web site of the Northern Nevada Gaited Horse Club. If you have any comments we would appreciate the input.Also any members that would like to submit items including photos, please contact the web site manager. NNGHC is also a recognized club with the American Trail Trials Association and North American Peruvian Horse Association.
Purpose:
To provide a forum for members to further their interest in and enjoyment of gaited horses. The club will sponsor educational activities to encourage good horsemanship, sportsmanship, and safety. It will organize competitive events, trail rides, clinics, and other events to foster friendship among riders of gaited horses. Furthermore, the club will be a source of information to the public about the talents, versatility, and capabilities of each gaited breed and may provide demonstrations of the various gaits at horse shows and parades. The club does not support or condone any inhumane practices against gaited horses, nor does it support or condone any events which allow said practices.

THE NEXT GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING WILL BE HELD WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 16, 2011 AT THE ROUND TABLE PIZZA 185 DAMONTE RANCH PARKWAY RENO NV. DINNER IS AT 6 PM AND THE MEETING STARTS AT 7 PM . .The ANNUAL ALL-GAITED BREED CLASSIC SHOW was held September 24- 25 , 2011 at the Carson City Fairgrounds in Carson City NV. Our judges this year were Bill Coon (FOSH) and Kim Montee (NAPHA ).
